EC-Motor

• Maintenance-free , brushless and efficient STIHL EC motor ensures a longer run time in operation and increased service life for maximum cutting performance.

Telescopic handle with quick-release

• Adjustable telescopic shaft that can be extended from 2.70 m to 3.90 m, so you can reach branches up to 16 ft. high.

Side chain tensioner

• The clamping screw is located to the side of the bar preventing contact with the saw chain for safety.

Soft grip handle

• The soft grip handle absorbs some vibrations making this unit easier to manoeuver

Additional features Lithium-ion battery (sold separately)

• Powerful lithium ion battery pack compatible with all STIHL cordless machines. The battery pack can be charged several hundred times without the capacity decreasing significantly. No memory effect and constant power while in operation. Allows operation for long periods, just like a gas machine. Available in two performance classes: AP 100, and AP 300. Includes a charge level indicator with four LEDs for indicating the charge level. Rechargeable with STIHL charger AL 100, AL 300 or AL 500
