2020 Toro Groundsmaster® 5900 Series 5910-D

The Toro® Groundsmaster® 5900-D and 5910-D rotary mowers offer an impressive 16' (4.9 meter) cutting width for making quick work of even the largest jobs. Equipped with a72 hp (53.7 kW), diesel engine, the 5900-D and 5910-D are powerful and efficient. The onboard InfoCenter™ provides on-board diagnostics to identify potential maintenance issues. These features, along with the SmartCool™ system with an auto-reversing cooling fan, ensure a long, productive life. Users can choose the open-air 5900-D model, or the climate-controlled, safety cab 5910-D model.

• One Groundsmaster 5900 has the equivalent production of two 11 ft mowers or four 6 ft out front rotaries.

• Belts transfer power more efficiently than hydraulic motors while adding a layer of protection against hydraulic failures. Large diameter spindle housing dissipates impact loads, and dual tapered roller bearings last up to six times longer than ball bearings.

• CrossTrax® all-wheel drive system offers increased cross wheel traction control.

• Two independently controlled 24v electric fan banks provide system cooling for hydraulics and engine.

• 4-way adjustable seat and air-ride suspension isolate the operator platform to reduce noise and vibration.

• SmartPower™ allows the operator to effortlessly maintain the correct speed for optimal cutting.

• 3.3L (202cu. in.) Yanmar Tier 4 Final Compliant turbo-diesel engine, 72 HP (53.7kW) @2500 rpm, 206 lb. ft. (279 Nm) torque @1625 rpm, B20 diesel compatible.

• With the ability to mow widths ranging from 57" (145 cm) to 192" (487 cm) the Groundsmaster 5900 has the flexibility necessary for nearly any mowing need.

• Ductile cast iron spindle housing is large in diameter [ 9 in. (229 mm) at the base] to dissipate impact loads. Dual tapered roller bearings last up to six times longer than ball bearings.

• The onboard InfoCenter™ gives the operator a quick read on all systems and even provides assistance at the right moment.

• The SmartCool™ system prevents over-heating with auto-reversing cooling fans.
